The publishing design and print industry seems to be an art in danger of extinction. But good design always remains, especially in the publishing industry. For years we have defended the “good design” of publications and we are honored to have worked hand in hand with renown authors and winners of multiple national literary awards. From the general concept of covers to the intuitive flow and page layout, we have successfully designed books and catalogs for entities such as the Institute of Culture of Puerto Rico and La Editorial de la Universidad, among others. Publishing design has gained space in recent years despite the use of digital books. It is no secret that digital books are linked to the loss of sleep due to their light emissions. A study published in the Washington Post shows that 87% of textbook spending for fall 2014 was in print books.
