Position Description
Summary
Designs WordPress-based wesbites along with general PHP framework-based solutions. Provides leadership in finding/developing new technologies and methods to advance the web offerings. Performs maintenance and monitoring. Supports current client websites by providing technical support. Shopping Cart (woocommerce) integration or other solutions a must!
Requirements
A degree in related field or comparable experience in web design environment. Vast experience working with wordpress technologies and environments. Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, WooCommerce, Shopping cart solutions, SEO techniques and integrations. Experienced in designing for WordPress themes. Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing with good time management skills.
Additional Skills
Graphic design oriented with particular attention to brand development
Good understanding of several technologies, including HTML5, CSS3
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of WordPress
Integrating sliced PSD files to HTML/CSS
Build WordPress responsive designs
Setting up e-commerce applications like WooCommerce or similar solutions
Contributing to support of current client websites
Participating in on-site and off-site client meetings
Integrating feeds from social networks
Integrating with third-party APIs
Customizing WordPress to improve functionality
Content migration (Hosting, FTP, knowledge)
